1980 Under ETA's terror

The ultra nationalist group ETA made 1980 the bloodiest year of Spanish History.  Journalists, philosophers and direct witnesses, survivors of kidnaps and relatives of the almost 100 people killed, tell the convulsive landscape of a Spain that was living their first years under democracy.

More than 480 terrorist attacks, 131 dead, 89 killed directly by ETA, 7 by the autonomous commandos (a excision of ETA), 432 wounded, around 200 blasts, 57 deactivated bombs… ETA kidnapped 22 people killing 4 among them.  There were another 13 unsuccessful attempts… attacks against political sites and public buildings, 2 assaults to police stations, more than 250 arson and more than 100 bomb threats.
