In this documentary, film producer Elías Querejeta, talks about himself in first person. His childhood in the Basque Country, his influences, his beginnings in the film industry, his career, his collaboration with other filmmakers such as Carlos Saura, Erice, Ricardo Franco,Jaime Chávarri, etc. The trade, his way of thinking, his disagreement, his interest and fight for the closest reality.
We come closer to the man and to the film professional, trying to uncover a fascinating and elusive personality. Through his own testimony, but also those who share work with him along his life, they are probably the most important figures of recent Spanish cinema (Carlos Saura, Jaime Chávarri, Victor Erice, Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, Montxo Armendariz, Gracia Querejeta, Fernando León de Aranoa…) we get to meet the real Elias Querejeta.
The film was shot between May 2011 and February 2012 and it shows his latest film project, “33 days”, that means the professional reunion after 30 years with filmmaker, Carlos Saura.
