The photographer Joana Biarnés was a women in a man’s world. She overcome all the prejudices of her times, she achieved success in her career, she met and photographed many big historical personalities.

Joana immortalized, with proximity and naturality, to the main figures of the Spanish culture during the 70s and also those who visited Spain those days. She was the only photojournalist to be close to the Beatles during their visit to Barcelona, she travelled with Massiel to the Eurovision Song Contest in 1968, she was the official photographer of Raphael during a decade and she is a close friend of Joan Manuel Serrat, the music conductor Xavier Cugat, the painter Salvador Dalí, the actor Fernando Rey, the bullfighter “El Cordobés”, the singer Lola Flores or even the Duchess of Alba.

The documentary is an intimate portrait of a unique woman, of a time and a country. She is a key character of the Spanish culture of the 20th Century.
