Jaume Plensa’s works have been shown by major art galleries and they have also filled public spaces for the enjoyment of all.  In order to know deeply his work, we follow the career of this Catalan artist.

This Spanish sculptor is known internationally by his commitment with art in public spaces and for being one of the major exponents of the global sculptoric scene today.  In the documentary we will see the set up and opening of two of his most recent projects: “Dream”, a marble piece of more than 20 meters high he created for an open space outside of an English town, and the piece “In the midst of dreams”, an exhibition made of three big polyster sculputures and three of alabaster for the Lelong Gallery in New York City.

The documentary starts with the exhaustive description of the Crown Fountain, his most emblematic piece, made for the Millenium Park in Chicago.  This spectacular public work was a milestone in his career and shows his magnificent pesonal view in the art world.
