The Smoke that Thunders

In one of the most beautiful and fascinating corners of the planet, nestled between the majestic Victoria Falls and the imposing waters of the Zambezi River, the human-animal conflict is reaching alarming proportions.

Elephants, baboons, crocodiles, and other dangerous species are venturing out of protected areas and into the city in search of food. Simultaneously, some residents of Livingstone are entering Mosi oa-Tunya National Park, to set snares or defend themselves against attacks from wild fauna.

Amidst this conflict, and working against the clock, are conservationists: Zambian and Spanish men and women compelled to find solutions to this problem before it’s too late.
